Mainstay Marine Solutions, Marine Engineers in South West Wales has received ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System (EMS). By gaining certification, Mainstay has demonstrated that is has rigorous environmental processes in place throughout its operations that meet high global standards.

Certification means that customers and stakeholders can benefit from the knowledge that Mainstay has built an effective environmental management system in both its strategic business plan and its day-to-day operations. The company has demonstrated its continual commitment to reducing waste and eliminating any adverse impact it may have on the environment including the waterway and other natural resources.  This forms part of the company’s overall aim to be a socially responsible, sustainable business.

Mainstay completed the upgrade and re-certification to ISO’s Quality Management Systems standard (9001:2015) back in January 2018. The company is working toward achieving ISO certification 45001:2018 for their Occupational Health and Safety Management System to develop an Integrated Business Management System.
