Mainstay Marine Solutions, workboat builders and servicing specialists in South West Wales are delighted to announce they have completed the upgrade and recertification to ISO’s latest flagship quality management systems standard 9001:2015.

The Cabinet Sectary for Energy, Planning and Rural Affairs, Lesely Griffiths congratulated the Mainstay team on all their hard work and presented the certificate to HSEQ Manager, Rita Beard and Sales and Technical Director, Mel Lewis on a recent visit to the site.

Carried out over 3 days during the first week of January, Mainstay Marine successfully passed their recertification audit to allow them to transition to 9001:2015 status.

Currently the world’s leading quality management standard ISO 9001:2015 helps organisations demonstrate to customers that they can offer products and services of consistently good quality that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

”The ISO certification is the most widely accepted and trusted quality management system globally for any business. We are delighted to have achieved this. It is a great endorsement of Mainstay and its prospects for future growth and development ” commented Stewart Graves, Managing Director.

By gaining the ISO 9001:2015 certification, Mainstay has demonstrated that it committed to having rigorous quality management systems and standards in place throughout its operations and that its top priority is customer satisfaction.
